Integration Center Baselland ESB 2023

The ESB is a private, public foundation that was established in 1975 as an "integration center and work center for people with disabilities." In 1999, it was renamed the "Eingliederungsstätte Baselland ESB." As a foundation, the ESB is responsible for providing support and opportunities for people in need for support to integrate into society and the workplace. They offer a range of services and programs, including vocational training, employment services, and personal support. Through their work, the ESB helps to promote inclusivity and diversity in the community. Their dedication to improving the lives of people with disabilities is truly admirable, and they serve as an important resource for the people of Baselland and beyond.

It is a partner of both the federal government and the canton. All its activities aim at helping them to lead an independent life.

In order to achieve this goal, the ESB provide young people and adults with training, workplaces and housing opportunities, guaranteed with expert care, guidance and counseling.

At eighteen locations, seventeen of which are in the canton of Basel-Landschaft and one in the canton of Basel, ESB offers approximately 100 residential and 480 workplaces. The ESB provides a considerable part of the assistance for the disabled in the canton of Basel-Landschaft, which is managed under social and economic aspects.

For many years they have been a recognized contractual partner of the Canton of Basel-Land, represented by the Office for Child, Youth and Disability Services, to enable people in need for support to use their services.

For many people, mental health is just as important as physical health. In fact, the two are often closely linked. When a person is struggling with mental health issues, it can have a profound impact on their physical health and vice versa. That's why the staff at ESB take a holistic approach to care and provide support that addresses both physical and mental needs.
