Our thin-film batteries have easily survived a 1000x flexure test at a bending radius of 25 mm. Another advantage is their low rate of self - discharge at room temperature of less than 5% annually. This ultra - thin 3V battery is ideal for uses in flat electronic applications, since its thickness of only 0.4 mm is clearly less than that of conventional lithium primary batteries. In addition, due to its improved lithium - manganese composition the energy density of the CP042350 is twice as great as other comparable products on the market.
Versatile Applications
With a capacity of 28 mAh and an average weight of 0.86 g the CP042350 can be used for a number of industrial and medical devices. Some of these applications, for example, are in smart cards, intelligent textiles, package labels, bracelets and (medical) sensors. Our research and development department is already working on a rechargeable version of the thin-film batteries.
