History
Renata was founded in 1952 as a manufacturer of components for mechanical clocks. After only a few years we began to specialize in coin cells for clocks and various electronic products in the areas of medical equipment, RFID and industry. Since 1982 Renata has been a 100 percent subsidiary of the Swatch Group.
Locations
Our headquarters is located in Itingen, just 20 minutes from Basel, Switzerland. In addition we have six global subsidiaries in Germany, Italy, France, Singapore, China and the USA.
